Are you brand new to handguns? Or maybe it’s just been awhile since you fired a handgun. Either way, this course will teach you the basics of handgun safety and shooting. You don’t need any prior handgun experience and you don’t have to bring anything except your curiosity and a desire to learn. We take care of everything. Of course, if you have a handgun, feel free to bring it with you.

Our certified instructors will take you through the simple, basic safety rules and teach you the fundamentals of how to shoot a handgun confidently. We’ll then take you out on the range for some supervised shooting. Nobody walks away from this course without a big smile.

Good judgment is critical to carrying a gun. Understanding when to retreat and when you have no options. This course makes use of the virtual range to help students learn when they should or should not engage. We use a wide variety of scenarios, discussion and review actions, and options for each one. Students will be challenged to explain their actions and examine consequences.

2 Hour Class

A flashlight is simply the best, most effective self defense tool one can own after a cell phone and a gun. For those who choose to not carry a firearm, or even if you do, we overwhelmingly suggest the addition of a flashlight to your every day carry. This course focuses on how to deploy a flashlight as a defensive tool as well as other less than lethal techniques of defending yourself.

2 Hour Class

This course will provide you practical, actionable skills to help survive a violent intrusion of your home. Having a gun is not enough. You need a plan. We will help you become mentally prepared for the contingencies involved in surviving a home invasion. What are the methods and equipment you need to minimize risk while maximizing your ability to stop the threat? How are your weapons staged throughout your home? How do you plan change based on who is in the house with you, young children, teens, people with special needs, and where they are located? We will be answering these questions and more.
